In Memory

Denise DeJulio

On March 9th, 2016, Denise Lyn Di Giulio, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA, died at the age of 56 at Cedars Sinai Hospital after a short illness. Beloved mother of Haley Elizabeth Di Giulio, dearly loved daughter of Robert and Marcia DeJulio, and devoted sister of Linda DeJulio. Denise was first and foremost an elementary school teacher and loved working with children. She was passionate about each classroom she worked in and greatly enjoyed her assignments in both the Castle Shannon and Mt. Lebanon school districts. Recently, Denise held the position of District Manager for Varsity Tutors in Los Angeles, California, and was excited to be part of an organization at the forefront of online tutoring, dedicated to the support of students of all ages. Denise was best known for her beautiful cakes and delicious homemade desserts, her photography of friends, food, and family, her love of foreign languages, literature, European culture, and rock music, especially the Dutch group Golden Earring, and above all, her devotion to her daughter Haley.

Denise Di Giulio viewing will be Friday ( one day) at Slaters Funeral Home in Greentree. The funeral will be Saturday.

Denise, you will forever be in our hearts and our minds.  You were taken way too soon and our prayers go out to your daughter and family.  No doubt the Good Lord needed you for a very important position in Heaven.  You will be missed!

Rest in Peace dear Angel!
